Inspired by Channel 4s ‘Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds,’
Song Squad
are pleased to announce our newest class,
Share a Smile Singalong.
Share a Smile Singalong
intergenerational programme will be based on music & movement, with fun props, colourful scarves, musical instruments, parachutes & more!
This pilot programme will bring members of the community together, whose paths would not necessarily cross.
Share a Smile Singalong will welcome parents/guardians with their babies or preschoolers into Salvete Care Home for a fun filled session, followed by a cup of tea & chat.
We use familiar nursery songs & rhymes as a connection for all those taking part. Whether they are 2 or 102 years old, the songs will be familiar from childhood. Repetition of the core songs every week serves to encourage improvement in memory skills for both generations.

About Song Squad....
Song Squad
launched back in January 2018, providing fun performing arts classes to children across Bedford.
In our Squads, children will dive into a world of creativity - they will master the moves, sing superstar songs & act out of this world, becoming triple threat performers!
We are a lively Squad, who stand out from the crowd with our energy & enthusiasm!
Creative Arts is a fantastic tool for building confidence, making new friends & developing lifelong skills.
Our professional teachers hold this passion, and continue their impressive careers working in this industry.
Our Squads are non-selective groups, available to all the community, in various locations across Bedford.
